Ayres Rock to Kings Canyon to Alice Springs

It's been a few days since the last post. I arrived in Kings Canyon to 36 hours of freezing windy rain and then the next day was perfect, clear skies, low twenties and beautiful walking weather for the Kings Canyon rim walk. I have hundreds of pictures, all of which are excellent, but I have culled them severely.

I attended the transport museum in Alice Springs, which was quite extraordinary and today checked out some gorges which I have not yet sorted and so will appear later.

Whenever Kenworth release a new model truck, they send a brand new one up to the transport museum at no charge. There are heaps of them.

This is the truck Slim Dusty drove across the Nullabor under supervision.

This is the car used in the movie 'Last Cab To Darwin'

Lassaters son had this vehicle for exploration.

The old Gahn, walked through and checked it out.
