An intersting drive today, I am using a policy of driving only back roads where possible. I have never travelled these roads before and today I was rewarded with a 100k sculpture trail of animals on bikes (pictures below). I had a very long talk with the president of the progress association in Cumnock, who filled me in on the history and interesting sights of the entire district. (he talked a lot).
Today I travelled to the following places-:: Dubbo, Toongi, Yeoval, Yullundry, Cumnock, Molong, Orange, Shadforth, Milthorpe(extremely pretty, pictures below), Blaney, Barry, Trunkey creek, Abercrombie and ended up in a creek side camp in Tuena. A total distance of around 250k.
Since writing this a few more days have passed with no internet connection, so millions of pics.
We've seen a few of those bike sculptures. When we get better internet I will be able to see all the lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteNice pics Gunther. I have that Animals on Bikes on our "must see" list.
